What Causes Tooth Discoloration?
There are two common types of tooth discoloration: Extrinsic and intrinsic discoloration. Extrinsic discoloration is caused by environmental factors such as certain foods, beverages and poor oral hygiene. Intrinsic discoloration starts inside the tooth and can be caused by dental trauma and certain medications.
Yellow stains on teeth are typically caused by food, drink or poor hygiene. Brown stains on teeth can be a result of smoking or tobacco use. White stains on teeth may be a result of an overuse of fluoride. How We Do It
We offer in-house and long-term whitening solutions for patients 15-years-old and older. Our whitening treatments include the ZOOM DayWhite and NightWhite treatment, the ZOOM WhiteSpeed LED Professional In-Office Whitening Treatment, and the Phillips Sonicare ZOOM Whitening Treatment, which is conducted in office. Each treatment features the latest technology and techniques in dentistry and will help whiten teeth safely and effectively.

We are now offering in-office whitening and custom take home whitening trays with Sonicare ZOOM technology. Phillips ZOOM blue LED light-accelerated technology and gel whitens rapidly while Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP) helps protect the enamel and reduce sensitivity.
